On 17 February 2017, K industries GmbH took over parts of the business sectors of the Althammer company with headquarters in Germany’s Heidenheim, Baden-Württemberg.
“We will employ 61 staff in the areas of tank, apparatus and machinery construction. After intensive negotiations and very positive signals on the part of customers, I am convinced that together, we will succeed in this undertaking,” stated the new owner, Franz Kreuzer.
At a works meeting in the context of an opportunity for the staff and the new owner to become acquainted for the first time, Franz Kreuzer issued a clear statement concerning his dedication to the Heidenheim location. “I am aware of your excellent quality, as you have demonstrated it for many years here at ALTHAMMER,” emphasised Kreuzer before the assembled future employees of the company which will operate under the name of K industries-ALTHAMMER GmbH.
Kreuzer will assume the management responsibilities himself. The two sister companies, K industries and K industries-ALTHAMMER, now form a strong German-Austrian axis along which there will be a robust exchange of existing skills and competencies effective immediately. “Parallel to the mutual transfer of know-how, we now have an expanded, and in part very exclusive product portfolio, additional international market shares and technologies. This forms a solid, sustainable base and the traditional location of St. Andrä will also benefit from additional reinforcement,” said a pleased Mr. Kreuzer.
